What a gap between posts!  I’d like to say that I have been busy taking lots of great photos but that would be an exaggeration.  I think there are a few photos I have taken recently that will appear here so what this space.  I have also been creating a web site for a friend who is starting his professional photography business.  That has been a great experience and a useful learning curve.  I am sure that a few of the features and ideas that I have come across creating that web site will start appearing here.
 
In the meantime here is a photo I took last year at the old road bridge at Pandora Estuary in Napier.  What could have been a boring picture of a bridge was greatly improved by a extreme angle (the Lightroom rotation tool that I use for straightening my horizons has other uses).  Also, using the cross process preset turned a sunny blue sky day into something a bit more interesting.
