On Art Deco weekend in Napier each year there is also an airshow. From the local airport all manner of aircraft fly over the city where people dressed up and enjoying the events watch. As the photo shows they also have acrobatic shows.
It was a beautiful blue sky day for this airshow. The lens was only a kit 55-200 zoom but quite adequate. Post processing in Lightroom included some cropping and framing; and getting rid of some sensor dust spots.
